Throughout the summer months, Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church (just east of Angier) will again host their popular Super Sunday Nights music series. Services will be held each Sunday evening at 6:00pm. The series begins the first Sunday in June and will conclude the last Sunday in August.
This summer’s series will feature many of the region’s most talented singers, musicians and quartets, as well as several nationally recognized recording artists. The Super Sunday Nights Series kicks off on Sunday, June 2 with popular musical family The Whisnants . Talented trio The Powell Family will be featured June 9. Eastern North Carolina’s own Gaylon Pope & Sweetwater will be featured on Sunday, June 23. Popular Gaither Homecoming artist Wesley Pritchard & Friends will round out the month of June on Sunday, June 30. (Piney Grove Chapel does not hold evening services on Father’s Day.)
Due to the July 4th weekend, evening services will not be held on July 7. The Super Sunday Night Series resumes on July 14 with the Wilmington Celebration Choir. Renown multi-award winning quartet The Kingsmen will be featured on July 21. Popular bluegrass gospel group, The Churchmen will appear on July 28.
The Montgomery Family will kick off the month of August, as they will be featured on August 4. Popular Eastern North Carolina based trio Graceway will be featured on August 11. Beloved musical family The Taylors will appear on August 18, with popular vocal trio, Mercy’s Cross concluding the series on August 25.
Piney Grove Chapel Senior Pastor, Brad Lee extends a warm invitation to everyone to make plans to be a part of these special Super Sunday Nights at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church in Angier throughout the summer. Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church is located at 4440 Piney Grove Road, five miles East of Angier, just off Hwy 210. No admission will be charged for the services; however, a love offering will be received each evening.
