Clinton Community Church hosted an impressive event on Friday, April 11. “Hands Across Carolina” was a fundraiser to aid the ongoing western NC recovery efforts. There was food for sale and various other types of fundraising efforts happening throughout the evening. The “main event” was a gospel sing, which drew a full house. The Marksmen Quartet, His Voice, Karson McCullen, Willing Heart, and the Wilmington Celebration Choir all participated.

Some video footage was shown of the disaster area. People who had been there as relief workers shared their experiences. There were some residents from the disaster area who were present as honored guests for the evening.
