Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, just east of Angier, will host a dynamic morning of worship on Saturday, November 1 beginning at 9:00am. This special Ladies Day will feature a continental breakfast, followed by a time of musical worship and speaking by renown singer, songwriter and author, Janet Paschal.

Janet Paschal's career has been marked by many honors and accolades, including her induction into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2022. With more than a dozen recordings to her credit, Janet’s passion and vulnerability are most evident in her inspiring music. Her recordings have been recognized with numerous Grammy and Dove Award nominations. Born in Reidsville, North Carolina, she has shared the stage with presidents and is a featured artist on the popular Gaither Homecoming Video Series.

In 2008, the prolific writer and Gospel Music Hall of Fame member released “Treasures Of The Snow”, which chronicled her triumphant cancer battle and stories from three decades in Gospel music. Her first literary work, “The Good Road” became a best seller. Her travels have taken her literally around the world, as she continues to delight audiences from all walks of life with her musical talents and testimony
