Featuring Southern Gospel Music in Eastern North Carolina

The Oak Grove Boys are a legend in gospel music in eastern North Carolina. They have been singing southern gospel music since 1970, and are known and loved by thousands throughout the area. Roger was presented a Living Legend award in 2024 by the Eastern NC Quartet Convention. In 2025 he was inducted into the ECGMA Hall Of Fame.

Current group members included Roger Summerlin (an original group member), his wife Tammy, and their sons Christian and Nicholas, and sometimes their daughter Stephanie. The group is based in Elm City, NC.

The group recently sang at Wesley Methodist in Farmville, NC to an appreciative audience. The combination of many years experience plus the tight family harmony makes every song a blessing.

Upcoming events for the group are included in the Gospel Notes schedule listings.

A video from the Farmville service can be found on the Gospel Notes video page.
